PlymLeaks exists to shine a light on public bodies and local authorities. We strive for accuracy, but if you believe any content is factually wrong, misleading, or violates privacy, you can submit a complaint.

What You Can Complain About

Complaints are only considered if they relate to:

  • Factual errors
  • Misleading presentation of information
  • Privacy violations

This applies to everything we publish, including our website, social media, and affiliated channels.

How to Submit a Complaint

To help us review your complaint quickly, include:

  • The article, post, or video in question
  • A link, if available
  • Your name and contact details
  • A clear explanation of the issue (up to 500 words)

Send complaints via email to complaints@mail.plymleaks.com.

We will acknowledge receipt within three days. Our team will investigate and aim to respond within 28 days. If a mistake is confirmed, we will correct, clarify, or remove the content as appropriate.

What We Do Not Handle

We will not process complaints that:

  • Are about opinions or editorial choices
  • Are unrelated to our published content
  • Are repetitive, trivial, or lacking substance
  • Concern advertising, technical issues or legal disputes

Appeals

If you are unhappy with our response, you can request a review within seven days of receiving our reply. We aim to respond to appeals within 28 days.
